Afro-caribbean chants and drums

A New York based group plays exciting and vibrant percussion and call-and-response singing of Afro-Dominican and Haitian rhythms. The 28-page booklet gives information about the music and descriptions and pictures of the many and varied drums and percussion instruments (panderos, balsié, guira, tambora, palos, atabales) in four languages as well as the complete lyrics.
