The partnership between Africa and the EU is of strategic significance to both sides. This brochure is an updated version of the first edition from 2008 and was prepared following the third Africa-EU Summit in November 2010 in Tripoli. At the summit the Joint Africa-EU strategy was reconfirmed as an adequate framework for partnership. This renewed strategy is presented in the first part of the brochure, while the second part includes the second action plan 2011-2013, adopted in Tripoli.
