The Island Council and Casa África inaugurate the exhibition “Women of the Congo”, a condemnation of sexual violence

The ​​External Affairs department of the Island Council of Tenerife and Casa África inaugurated the exhibition Women of the Congo. The road to hope by the photographer Isabel Muñoz. This exhibition of 25 photographs, on display until 4 December at the Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre (“Museum of Man and Nature”), is a cooperative project between the photographer Isabel Muñoz and the Congolese journalist and 2014 Prince of Asturias award-winner Caddy Adzuba. It aims to encourage reflection on the fight to combat sexual violence against women and girls, to acquire a real and effective commitment resulting in help being given to these women.
