Our mission is to bring Africa and Spain closer
Through outreach, educational, economic, and cultural activities, we foster mutual understanding and strengthen Hispanic African relations.
After last year's success, when Casa África invited South African designer Dax Martin to the runway, we will continue promoting African fashion in the Canary Islands while supporting the economic development of this African industry by exporting its image and products.
The objective of having the western African designer Adama Ndiaye participate in this important international event with swim wear is to once again show the proximity between the Canary Islands and Africa, and to bring the cultures closer through the designs.
The fashion industry, with its extensive social and commercial projection, will once again host an event at Maspalomas during Gran Canaria Moda Cálida 2011. An excellent opportunity for promoting and contributing to Africa´s economic development by promoting commercial relations and a special focus for attracting potential investors, while disseminating an image of Africa that is not very well known in our country.
Date: 20 June 2011
Location: Maspalomas, Gran Canaria
