Our mission is to bring Africa and Spain closer
Through outreach, educational, economic, and cultural activities, we foster mutual understanding and strengthen Hispanic African relations.
As part of the activities organized by Casa África to commemorate Children’s Day, in addition to the meeting with schools, the institution is holding a storytelling session with Boniface Ofogo from Cameroon on Saturday 25 November at 11:30 a.m. in the courtyard of Casa África. This is an activity to enjoy as a family, and as always access is free and open to alluntil full capacity is reached.
We have been lucky enough to welcome Boniface in other occasions and now he’s returning with El elefante que perdió su ojo (The elephant that lost his eye), a show of African stories for the general public that brings us the tale of an elephant that used to take one eye out to play ping-pong until one day he loses it in the river waters. From this incident, he’ll learn important lessons about life which Boniface will explain to anyone who wants to come and listen.
The show is a journey of initiation into the heart of Africa through its legends and ancestral myths and will allow us to discover its spirit full of wisdom and profound humanity. Wisdom that Boniface has learned how to transmit through years of experience.
