Our mission is to bring Africa and Spain closer
Through outreach, educational, economic, and cultural activities, we foster mutual understanding and strengthen Hispanic African relations.
These seminars, aimed at all companies who wish to set up trade relations with Guinea Bissau, will count on the presence of Alfonso López Perona, Spanish Ambassador in the country, who will present business opportunities for Spanish companies.
The agricultural sector, fishing or food exports and small capital goods are some of the sectors of interest that the archipelago's SME's can devote themselves to if they are interested in expanding their market. We must add to this the options offered by development aid from multilateral organisations for engineering and consultancy firms in the islands.
The Guinea Bissau economy grew by 3% last year and inflation is at a steady rate of 4%. Its currency is the CFA franc, which maintains a fixed parity to the euro, which is why we need not fear devaluations. The country has also signed an agreement to avoid double taxation with Spain. Spanish exports to the country have been focused on food sales and small capital goods.
The seminars will be held:
In both cases prior registration is needed due to there being limited places.
