III Torneo de fútbol 7 África Vive

From the 14th April to the 12th May at the Manuel Naranjo Sosa football pitch and in collaboration with the Federation of African Associations in the Canary Islands  (FAAC), Casa África organises the 3rd África Vive 7-a-side football tournament, which this time has eight African teams competing against each other:

• Algeria
• Cape Verde
• Ghana
• Equatorial Guinea
• Morocco
• Mauritania.
• Sao Tomé and Príncipe
• Senegal

The matches will take place on Saturdays from the 14th April to the 12th May at the Manuel Naranjo Sosa football pitch (next to the Las Arenas shopping centre) and are open to the public. The Final will be held on Saturday 12th May at 17.30, and the prizes will be presented once the match ends.

To carry out this tournament, as well as having the support of FAAC and its members, Casa África has had the collaboration of the Municipal Institute of Sport of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria Town Council, who has loaned pitches for the planned matches to take place, the Federation of Referees of Gran Canaria, who has refereed the matches and the sponsorship of Base Bazar Sport who has donated the sports material.

• 16/04/2012 The "African Cup" for 7-a-side football of África Vive returns to Gran Canaria. Eight African teams will compete in the tournament that Casa África traditionally holds to celebrate Africa Day, which started last Saturday and will continue until  12th May.
