Our mission is to bring Africa and Spain closer
Through outreach, educational, economic, and cultural activities, we foster mutual understanding and strengthen Hispanic African relations.
Casa África and the FAAC (Federation of African Associations in the Canaries) are organising the África Vive Football 7-a-side Tournament, which will begin on Saturday, April 24, at the La Ballena football field located in the capital of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Six African teams will face off in this sort of Africa Cup competition, which also reminds us that this is a special year for the African continent as far as sports and media repercussion thanks to the FIFA World Cup.
This sports activity is the first event organised by the FAAC within the África Vive framework, and it will be followed by the African Gastronomy Corner (in collaboration with Casa África, the CEAR Foundation-Habitáfrica, and chef Felo Botello).
The teams that will compete are:
· Ivory Coast
· Ghana
· Equatorial Guinea
· Mauritania
· Nigeria
· São Tomé and Príncipe
· Senegal
