Through outreach, educational, economic, and cultural activities, we foster mutual understanding and strengthen Hispanic African relations.
The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Gran Canaria organises the 5th edition of the Business Meeting Canarias - Africa, that will be held from 2nd to 4th November 2011 at the Centro de Convenciones Expomeloneras (Maspalomas, Gran Canaria).
More than150 African companies will meet up at this event, which has Casa África's collaboration amongst many other organisations. The African countries participating in this 5th edition are: Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Gambia, Senegal, Mali, Niger, Morocco, Mauritania, Angola, Guinea Conakry, Togo, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Benin, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau.
As part of this meeting, on Friday 4th November from 11:30h the session "The role of the African Development Bank and its programme of International Tenders" will be held. This session will be attended by Casa África's General Director, Ricardo Martínez together with Casa África's General Secretary, Luis Padilla, who will present Casa África's African Economic Notebook, whose title is "African Economic Outlook and the role of emerging countries".
